Quick update as proof that I went to Otakon.

Tahno is my absolute favorite from Legend of Korra so of course I had to give his design a go. To be honest, even though I knew it would probably end up being super silly, I haven't been this excited about making a costume in a really long time. Despite the heat and pain from the heels, I'm glad I went ahead and churned him out for Otakon, because I had a ton of fun. I'm not exactly the most..IC Tahno, but, yeah, it was cool to meet up with other LoK folk as this here jerkbender.

This cosplay is absurd but I'm also absurdly happy with it. I need to fix the wig and practice makeup stuff some more and finish the cuffs before I wear it again to AWA but until then I'm still ridiculously amused by this costume and how I look in it.

I mean that in a totally omgmadcosplayskills sort of way. xD; And PSH. As long as it's fun. Hope it wasn't too hot in that thing, cause last year's Otakon was hot as hell.

lmao I got a lot of that - I would run up to people I knew and they'd look so weirded out until I was finally like OH BTW ITS ME. And HAHA of course it was hot as balls (and all the Avatar shoots were OF COURSE outside), because I can never pick weather appropriate costumes! :'3
